SAWUSA is excited to announce our Summer 2023 Basketball Tryout Camps for our Summer 2024 International Basketball Tours.
We would like to invite you (or your son/daughter or athletes you coach) to start an application for a spot on one of our SAWUSA International Basketball Tour teams. SAWUSA will be hosting FREE Basketball tryout camps in July/August 2023 in various cities across the United States. These tryout camps will help us connect with athletes that might be a good fit for our Summer 2024 International tour teams. These camps for boys and girls ages 10-25 give athletes and families an opportunity to meet SAWUSA staff and learn more about this unique opportunity. In addition SAWUSA staff will be able to evaluate the Basketball ability and character of the athletes that attend the camps. To register for a free tryout camp, click the link below.
Can’t Make a Tryout Camp?
If you can’t make a tryout camp date or location, do not worry. You can still apply for a tour on our website. Even if you did attend a camp you would still need to do this same application process. The camps are simply a way for us to personally connect with some athletes.
How do I make a SAWUSA Team?
The tryout camp is NOT HOW YOU MAKE A SAWUSA TEAM. Even if you came to the tryout camp and made 500 threes in a row and dunked it from half court, you would still need to apply for a SAWUSA Tour through our on-line application process just like any other athlete who did not attend a tryout camp would. Our SAWUSA Tour Application isNOT the same thing as registering for a tryout camp. Our on-line application process is completely free, and you can start that by clicking on the link below. You will create your application and then you will gather highlight videos and letters of recommendation to upload to your application. After those are reviewed you will be able to schedule a video interview with our staff. That is theONLY WAY TO MAKE A SAWUSA TOUR TEAM. Our on-line application process is thorough and is something you need to do WITH YOUR PARENTS. You can click below if you want to get started, but please make sure to take your time and read each step.
