Overview
Our newest tour and our biggest adventure to date. Tokyo is the largest (40 million!) and safest metropolis in the World. The star of the tour is Basketball as we will compete with some of the best school and clubs in Japan. But this trip is also jam-packed with cultural exploration that you will never forget. You will be immersed in ancient traditions like sumo wrestling and tea - along with futuristic innovation of one of the greatest cities in the World.

- WHEN - July 20-28, 2027 (9 days)
- HOW MUCH - $3,790* per traveler (no flight)
- HOW MUCH - $4,990* per traveler (with flight)
*If paying in full and up front for all travelers. The price is $300 more if using a payment plan or adding additional travelers to the tour after the athlete is enrolled.

Itinerary
DAY 1 - USA TO JAPAN
Meet your teammates and coaches at our USA departure airport and fly to Tokyo.
DAY 2 – ARRIVAL IN TOKYO
Morning / Afternoon - Arrival at Narita / Haneda Airport. Meet & greet and private transfer to hotel. Hotel check-in.
Evening - Welcome dinner at local Japanese restaurant. Team briefing & program overview

DAY 3 - SENSOJI
Morning - Breakfast at hotel. Basketball training session with local Japanese coaches.
Afternoon - Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Street (Asakusa). Back to the hotel.

DAY 4 – GAME DAY
Morning - Breakfast at the hotel. Meet English-speaking guide at the lobby. Transfer to venue. Competitive Match 1 vs well-established Japanese high school / university basketball team. Lunch at school cafeteria.
Afternoon - Free at leisure. Back to the hotel.

DAY 5 – KAMAKURA
Morning - Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Kamakura. Kamakura provides an important balance within the tour, offering players a chance to physically recover between fixtures while experiencing a different side of Japan. As a historic coastal city with strong samurai heritage, it allows the group to step away from competition, recharge, and engage in a meaningful cultural environment. It is also home to one of the most iconic locations featured in Slam Dunk, making it particularly appealing for basketball players and fans of the sport. Visit Kamakura coastal area.
Afternoon - Continue to Enoshima Island. Explore Enoshima: island walk, shrine area, and scenic coastal viewpoints. Free time. Back to hotel.
DAY 6 – BASKETBALL & TEA
Morning - Breakfast at the hotel. Competitive Match 2 vs established Tokyo-based high school / university basketball team. Lunch at school cafeteria.
Afternoon - Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience. This experience offers players a unique opportunity to slow down, develop mindfulness, and gain insight into Japanese culture beyond sport. Back to the hotel.

DAY 7 – SUMO EXPERIENCE
Morning - Breakfast at the hotel. Competitive Match 3 vs different Tokyo-based opponent. Lunch at school cafeteria.
Afternoon - Sumo Experience / Sumo Stable Visit. Observe sumo training or visit a traditional sumo stable to learn about Japan’s national sport, its discipline, rituals, and unique training culture. Back to the hotel.
DAY 8 – FINAL GAME & FAREWELL
Morning - Breakfast at the hotel. Competitive Match 4 vs top-level Tokyo-based team. Final game & team awards. Lunch at school cafeteria.
Afternoon - Free at leisure. Farewell Dinner at local Japanese restaurant. Back to the hotel.
DAY 9 – DEPART FOR THE USA
Have Breakfast at your Hotel. Hotel check-out. Departure to Airport. Depart for USA. Arrive back in the USA.
