Step 2 - Email Resume

Now that you have registered, the next step for you is to send us your resume. Please e-mail it to SAWUSA Tour Coordinator Mike Spinner at mike@studentathleteworld.com.

Step 3 - Schedule Video Interview

Please use the calendar below to schedule a video chat with SAWUSA Tour Coordinator Mike Spinner. During the call, Mike will discuss your coaching background and determine if you’re the right fit for one of our tours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the trip and the coach selection process. Please make sure to be prepared for the video chat, and make sure not to miss it!

Step 4 - Receive Official Offer

If you are the right fit for us, Mike will talk to you about a spot on our Coaching Staff and what that entails. We have Tour Coordinator positions, Head Coaching positions, and Assistant Coaching positions. We want our staff to buy into our mission and philosophy of International sports travel and be great communicators. We also want our staff to grow with us. It’s typical for coaches to start as Assistant Coaches and grow into the role of Head Coach and eventually, a Tour Coordinator.

  • Tour Coordinator = Free Travel and Stipend
  • Head Coach = Free Travel
  • Assistant Coach = Partially-Funded Travel

Step 5 - Nominate Athletes

Your next step for you is to compile a list of athletes that might be interested in one of our trips. Please send data on athletes (name, email address, phone numbers, parents email addresses, parents phone numbers, social handles, school, athletic information, etc.). We’d love it in electronic form (Microsoft Excel, etc.) if possible – but we will take it however you want to give it to us! We can usually convert PDF files and even if they are hand-written lists, we can make it work. Please try to include as much information as possible and e-mail the leads to info@studentathleteworld.com. We will reach out personally to each athlete you nominate.

Step 6 - Spread the Word

Please download the attached documents and give to any athletes you feel would be a good fit for our tours.
