STUDENT ATHLETE WORLD (SAWUSA) AND DARK MAGIC ICE HOCKEY TO PARTNER FOR 2025 UNITED WORLD GAMES
Student Athlete World (SAWUSA) and Dark Magic Hockey will partner to sponsor ice hockey teams to compete at the 2025 United World Games, to be held in Klagenfurt, Austria. The United World Games is the largest annual youth sporting event in all of Europe, and SAWUSA will work with Dark Magic Hockey to sponsor teams for the event’s 3v3 ice hockey tournament.
As part of the United World Games tour, athletes and families will visit Munich, Germany, Salzburg, Austria, Venice, Italy, and other amazing European sites. The tour will take place from June 15-24, 2025.
“Student Athlete World (SAWUSA) has a long history of sending competitive teams in the many sports that the United World Games has to offer. For 2025, we’re going to compete in 3v3 ice hockey for the first time, and I am very excited to work with Alex Chis-Luca, and Dark Magic Hockey to put our teams together. I’ve had the pleasure to see the great work that the Dark Magic Hockey program does for its kids first-hand, and I am confident that we will sponsor teams that will not only compete strongly at the United World Games, but represent the United States as outstanding ambassadors at one of the most amazing youth sporting events in the world,” said SAWUSA Director of International Tours, Mike Spinner.
Dark Magic Hockey is a Spring/Summer hockey program that draws players from all over the country to compete in tournaments up and down the eastern seaboard. The 2025 United World Games will be the first time the program will bring teams to an international event. The United World Games features U16, U14, U12, and U10 brackets, and the SAWUSA/Dark Magic Hockey partnership will open up opportunities for ice hockey players within each age group.

Ice Hockey players looking to compete at the 2025 United World Games for SAWUSA do NOT have to be a member of Dark Magic Hockey to participate.
