After a little over 5 years (and 6 summers of tours) serving as the Director of Client Relations, Jody Burrows is moving on from SaWUSA. She has accepted a position as a D1 Women’s Basketball Coach at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
Jody will be missed greatly by SaWUSA. She was hired in the Spring of 2017 for a newly created position. Over the years she led tours to Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Barbados, and Argentina.
Jody helped usher in a new era for SaWUSA as our first full-time employee. She was exceptional in her role, and is an even better person and co-worker. She was able to develop such great relationships with our travelers. She communicated so well with our athletes and families in the sales process. On tour as a group leader, she shined. I cannot understate how many times we heard travelers and coaches say plainly, “Jody was awesome!”
While we are bummed she’s no longer going to be working formally with SaWUSA, we are super excited and happy for her as she moves on to LMU as a coach.
